State's best running at Holy Trinity tonight

Holy Trinity will host its sixth annual Florida All-Star Showdown at 7 p.m. tonight, with eight distance races bringing together many of the state’s best for one night.

DistancePreps.com is sponsoring the races — boys and girls events in the 800 meters, 1,600, 3,200, 5K, and a “milk mile,” which contestants drink a cup of milk every 400 meters.

Entry is free, but spectators are asked to bring a can or two of non-perishable foods for a local food pantry.
